Compared with 2017, there were 68 production lines and a daily production capacity of 1.154 million square meters in the Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing regions. Up to now, Chongqing has built 24 production lines, with a total daily production capacity of 240,000 square meters of ceramic tiles, and a daily production capacity of 1.36 million pieces of roof tiles (including Xiwa and Huizhou ancient buildings). Yongchuan District is located in the southeast of Chongqing City. There is currently a ceramics company, Chongqing Dongpeng Smart Home Co., Ltd. In 2017, with the signing of Dongpeng Ceramics, the scale of Chongqing's ceramic industry further expanded. At present, Chongqing Dongpeng Smart Home Co., Ltd. has built 1 glazed tile production line and 1 antique tile production line.
It is understood that Chongqing Dongpeng Smart Home Co., Ltd. covers an area of 1,780 acres and plans to build 10 ceramic tile production lines, 3 ceramic sanitary ware (including smart toilet) production lines, 1 bathroom cabinet production line, 1 shower room production line and hardware 1 set of faucet (using nano-coating machine vacuum coating process) production line.
In addition to the expansion of the scale of the ceramic tile industry, the arrival of Weimei Ceramics and Dongpeng Ceramics has also brought higher and more advanced production levels to Chongqing's ceramic industry.
