Release time:2024-12-20click:0

"Renovate Your Home Quickly" is produced by the team of Dragon TV's word-of-mouth program "Dream Renovator" and directed by director Duan Hong. "Dream Remodeler" is an evergreen program in the home decoration and renovation category. It has been unanimously recognized by the industry and outside the industry for its professional and rigorous home decoration renovation and sincere and touching emotional transmission.
This new program "Renovate Your Home Quickly" is another "upgrade" to "Dream Home Remodeler". It uses renovation in a shorter time (within 7-14 days) to update the traditional decoration concept that has been renovated for decades. , enabling quick and casual house renovations while maintaining a solid foundation.
Aesthetic L&D Luxury Stone Slabs, as the designated product of the program "Renew Your Home Quickly", will work with the program team and designers to help renovate old houses.

The clients of this program "Driving to the Future Home" are a young couple who are starting a business. They bought a loft in Chengdu and planned to use it for both commercial and residential purposes, but the renovation of the house made them make mistakes. Difficulty: It is difficult to design a strange house type. The beams on the ceiling and the pillars standing in the house cut the space into pieces, making the interior design very difficult.

With nothing to do, the two finally signed up to participate in the program "Renew Your Home Quickly". The program team invited designer Li Wenqiang to design. After preliminary exploration, the designer decided to build the cabin into a space with a futuristic sense of technology.

Designer Li Wenqiang

Home before renovation

Overall introduction to the house type: a loft with an area of 19 square meters and a floor height of 5.8 square meters. The entire space resembles an incomplete 30-degree fan shape, like a piece of pizza with a missing sharp corner. The room was divided into three floors by the owner of the household. It was originally planned that the first floor would be a living area, the second floor would be a work area, and the third floor would be a storage room.

Longitudinal view before renovation

First floor
The room with a floor height of only 5.8m is divided into three floors by the owner of the household. This is actually unreasonable. The unreasonable layered design results in a very low level, which makes people feel very depressed. In addition, there is a flue standing in the home, which divides the complete space, which is a big renovation problem.

Second floor

Three floors

The third floor is used as a storage room, but in fact this floor is very low. The overall floor height of the room was originally 5.8m, but because there are two independent beams on the ceiling, the floor height of some spaces is less than 4.9m, further causing the height of the three floors to shrink.
The floor height is too low, and even the male owner cannot stand upright on it. It can be seen that this floor will lose its function because the floor height is too low.

Renovation plan

Designer Li Wenqiang adapted to local conditions and proposed the concept of "folders" for storage based on the current situation of the apartment being only 19 square meters. He designed a large number of identical "structural parts" on the walls to realize the idea of the entire house being used as a storage box.

Functional zoning: living area on the first floor, rest area and work area on the second floor. "Folder" concept: the entire house is used as a folder for storage. Hidden design: water, electricity, and air conditioning ducts are arranged on pillars. Personalized furniture :Improve space utilization

Remodeled home
The entrance is an entrance hall, and directly in front is a shoe cabinet, which completes the storage system and makes the space more concise and less cluttered. You can see many key-shaped holes on the wall, which is the idea of "folders" mentioned by the designer.

These large number of holes serve as "structural parts" in the room, allowing any object in the room to be hung, even coffee tables and chairs. Furthermore, the entire space can be moved at will, which is extremely flexible and creative.

As soon as you enter the door, you can see the "flowing" mirror designed on the wall. The mirror reflects the space on the opposite side, subtly expanding the visual space of the narrow corridor., making the originally depressing room more transparent and breathable, and at the same time full of design.

In this space on the right side of the room, a space capsule-style door with a sense of technology hides the toilet at the back. In addition, the kitchen also fills the curved part of the room, ensuring the straight line direction of the remaining space of the room, making the view wider.

The space under the stairs has been transformed into a small sink, so every inch of space must be fought for.

Ceiling lights with a sense of installation and design make your home unique. Made of stainless steel and a unique shape designed by the designer himself, the ceiling lamp looks more avant-garde and technological. Most of the furniture in the room is designed by novice designers, and the design greatly improves space utilization.

The ground floor of the first floor is paved in beautiful L&D-Makina black, with white lines dancing on the black background, like a mysterious and deep space. It is paired with metal walls and furniture to create a future space full of technology.

In the rest area on the second floor, you can also see traces of the designer's personalized and unique design. A row of round lights not only subtly enhances the sense of extension of the space, but also creates the technological and futuristic feel of the space capsule.

In the past, the hostess always complained that there was no quiet work area, which affected her working status. Now this quiet space perfectly fulfills the hostess’s dream.

Considering that the hostess often teaches live broadcasts, the considerate designer specially installed a whole surface of soft lights on the ceiling. The hostess does not need to turn on other lights during live broadcasts, which is very nice.

In addition, there is a tatami, which can be used as a temporary rest area, storage room, and cloakroom.

Conversation with Li Wenqiang
Q: What is the biggest challenge in this renovation? A: The design area this time is 20 square meters in total, which is the smallest space I have ever created. Among them, the biggest challenge is probably my first time doing home decoration design. I have no solutions or experience in this area, so I can only spend time facing this problem.
