After Mona Lisa and Dongpeng issued price increase notices, another leading ceramic company in the industry issued price increase notices.
On October 11, Diou Home Furnishing issued an announcement on the price adjustment of the main products of its holding subsidiaries.
The announcement shows that in view of the recent tight power supply in various production areas and the continued rise in raw material and energy prices, Foshan Oceano Ceramics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Diou Home Holdings, is adopting large-scale manufacturing, lean production, centralized procurement and other measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency. While taking strategic measures, comprehensively considering various factors such as market affordability, the company decided to make reasonable adjustments to the prices of its main products after research, and will increase the sales prices of ceramic tile products starting from October 11, 2021.
Among them, for commonly sold conventional ceramic tile products with specifications of 600×1200mm and below, the price will be increased by 5% based on the original unit price (regular price).
The announcement also stated that the overall increase in sales prices of Oceano's main products will have a positive impact on the company's operating performance and help further enhance the company's sustainable profitability.
On October 8, Mona Lisa Group also issued a product price adjustment notice, including 300×450mm ceramic tiles, 300×300mm small floor tiles, 600×600mm antique tiles, 400×800mm polished glazed mid-board, 800×800mm polished Glazed tiles and other products will be increased by 6% on the basis of the original special price. The above price adjustment will be implemented from October 11.
Previously on September 24, Dongpeng Holdings also issued a notice on the price adjustment of the company's main products. Starting from October 1, the prices of some large retail channels, large package channels, and engineering channels will be increased.

Some ceramic companies have also issued notices stating that starting from October 10, prices of slate products will be raised across the board.
Some ceramic companies in Zhaoqing and Qingyuan also issued price increase letters, and from October 15th, the prices of all categories of slate products will be increased by 5 yuan/square meter.
Not only in Guangdong, a ceramics company in Gao'an, Jiangxi recently said that due to the continued skyrocketing prices of various ceramic raw materials, the cost continues to rise. It decided to adjust the prices of some products starting from October 8, including 600×1200mm large plates, For rock slabs, the unit price has been increased by 0.5 yuan/piece.

At the same time, some ceramic companies in Jiangxi have raised the price by 1 yuan per piece for large full-body panels with specifications of 600×1200mm and 750×1500mm.
A ceramic enterprise in Foshan, Guangdong said that the current price increase of large brand products in the industry is about 5%-10%, and the price adjustment rate of small and medium-sized brand products is about 10%-20%. "The current product price increases are not only limited to conventional products such as porcelain tiles, small floor tiles, antique tiles, etc., but have begun to spread to various categories."
